The day of joy and jubilation , victory of good over evil, the Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion at BVM (USN). Aditi a student of class Vlll threw light on the different roles played by Sri Krishna imparting values of human virtues such as selflessness, humility, compassion and fulfilling one's duty throughout his life. The aura of divinity graced the celebration as tiny tots (Nursery) attired up as Sri Radha Krishnan , chanted the multiple names of Lord Krishna, emphasizing the spiritual aspect of the festival. To recreate the spirit of Lord Krishna' s childhood , a beautiful cradle was decorated whereas little munchkins (KG) narrated anecdotes related to his birth in Mathura , upbringing in Gokul, popular childhood enactments with friend Sudama and playful interactions with Gopies - depicting his life as a divine figure, a friend and a guide. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal extended her greetings for the festival saying that such celebrations promote a sense of unity, foster friendship and evoke respect for different cultural and religious traditions.
